Shaun Burgess was born in Ipswich, Suffolk, England where he still lives with his wife and three children. He is a self-taught artist and works from a studio at the bottom of his garden.

Shaun works in oils where his natural tendency towards realism and order is offset with an urge to create contradiction via abstract marks and colour. He takes inspiration from disrupted realism enjoying the interest and movement the style offers him.

His works are sold via online and physical galleries which has led to pieces being shipped to collectors in the UK, America, Australia and Europe.
