Judith Hunt

Mark and Judith Hunt are both makers and educators.

They live and work in Yaxley, Suffolk, working from their own studios.

They both have a degree in Three-Dimensional Design (Ceramics) from Loughborough University, Graduating in 1982. After which, Mark completed a master’s degree in Three-Dimensional Design (Ceramics) at Cardiff School of Art & Design, whilst Judith (also Cardiff) completed her PGCE.

They retired from their posts in education in 2015 (Mark, Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University for the Creative Arts and Judith, an art and design teacher, 11-18yrs) and moved to Suffolk. This gave them the opportunity to build their business, consultancy, workshops and a variety of 2D and 3D artwork.

Through their travels near and far, their work celebrates the pleasure of seeing beauty everywhere, in everything. A moment, a memory, an impression. Their work ranges from dynamic simplicity to more complex images and textures through a variety of media.
